Please describe the issue:
When running any yum command, the above error message pops up. I think this is due to Yum database corruption, however I'm not entirely sure. I've found this guide which explains how to rebuild the database so I'll follow that, but I wanted to open the issue to have a record of what I was doing.

Rebuilding the database(s) worked and I was able to run yum install nagios-plugins. I've put the old ones ( __db.00[1-3]) into /tmp/, just in case there's any issues as a result of this. Closing
