Cannot quickly scan a QR code that is not flat #81

During my test, for a flat QR code, the content will be scanned immediately. But if the QR code is attached to a cylinder, the QR code is not flat, and I need to rotate the phone to scan it. Why is that? I can scan the content immediately using other scanning tools.
