I can't reproduce the problem with inaccurate position, could you give more detailed steps, about how to reproduce it?

Btw do you think this is a new issue or duplicate of #1797?

With #3635, setting useTextareaForIME option to false will produce behavior similar to CodeMirror, and bug with that option set to true should be fixed too.
