v0.3.0 has gone a lot later than we thought and Deno has pushed their plans on this new feature to v1.8.0 which will most likely release in a little over a month because I think they have a release schedule of a minor update every 6 weeks. We have decided to postpone the release of the new JSX transform to a later time when SWC and Deno will also support it. It will most likely either be v0.4.0 or possibly its own draft PR that will be worked on parallel with other goals with no defined release date. This is basically just a tracking issue for that feature.

@ije swc-project/swc#1408 got merged. That's the PR for the React 17 JSX transform. Would we still need to wait until 1.8.0 of Deno is released or could we add it in once the next version of SWC is released?

1.8.0 got/is getting released today and plans for the new JSX transform have been moved to 1.9.0 so this should be resolved in like 6 weeks.
