The latest version of the hugo walden theme supports a simple static website with menu items Home, Blog, and Docs, where the latter is very similar to hugo-book. This makes sense because I might have more than one book, and in this way there could be several Docs links, one per book. This is not an issue with hugo-book, just a suggestion that a hybrid approach might be more flexible.

Hi! well, depends on what you want to achieve, you can have multiple sites (on multiple hosts or subfolders) with multi-lang setup: https://gohugo.io/content-management/multilingual/
or you can deploy multiple sites and have links between them in the menu
