Explaining and deriving different hemisphere sampling schemes that can be used when doing Monte-Carlo path tracing. This works by working with spherical and cartesian coordinates. Includes uniform sampling, cosine-weighted sampling, power cosine-weighted sampling and microfact BRDF sampling such as Blinn-Phong, Beckmann and others. Could be extrapolated to Ward or GGX as well.
