- Two carriage self-driving metro train inspired by the B07 DLR train
- Multiple variants suitable for different train lines (blue, red, yellow)
- Easily customisable branding on ends and sides of carriages
- Airline and metro style seating
- Shorter carriage lengths than Class 158 suitable for shorter platforms and tighter bends
This train comes in the following variants:
Train ID | Description | Screenshot |
---|---|---|
metro |
Standard blue and white livery | |
metro_red |
Red stripe along top, red poles | |
metro_yellow |
Yellow stripe along top, yellow poles |
A custom logo or train line name can be placed on the sides and ends of the trains by editing the following textures in the resource pack:
metro
:assets/minecraft/textures/item/amalon/tc/metro/branding.png
metro_red
:assets/minecraft/textures/item/amalon/tc/metro/red/branding.png
metro_yellow
:assets/minecraft/textures/item/amalon/tc/metro/yel/branding.png
The original resource pack files are found in the res/
directory of the git
repository.
The upper white part of the texture is mapped onto the middle of both sides of the train. The lower yellow part of the texture is mapped onto the ends of the train.
The door open and close animations take 18 seconds (1 second to open, 16 seconds open, 1 second to close), so a station stop should be about that time.
The B07 can accelerate at 1.4 m/s2 according to Wikipedia.
Therefore the recommended station sign would look something like this:
[+train]
station 1.4m/ss
18
continue
Animate signs placed under the front wheels of the train when stopped at a station activate about 2 seconds prior to the train stopping, so the recommended sign text placed at the platform side of the rail would look something like this at the right end of a platform:
[+train:left]
animate reset
doors_r
1.0 2.0
or this at the left end of a platform:
[+train:right]
animate reset
doors_l
1.0 2.0
