I notice that there is a pull request about improving multi-channels merged recently. ref Here
According to my experience and benchmark, the later is important, a single channel between two sides is enough. Here are my benchmark and result: https://github.com/lexburner/multi-channel-benchmark
I don't get performance improvement through more than one channel.
