This Feature Request affects these Traffic Control components:

  • Traffic Control Cache Config (t3c, formerly ORT)
  • Traffic Stats

Description

Currently, Varnish does not have statistics needed by Traffic Stats (response codes for DSes for example). There are couple of options for making custom statistics in Varnish like xcounter and dyncounters VMODs. It will probably involve incrementing counters in vcl_deliver and querying these counters with varnishstat in vstats.
