  • I have mapped CapsLock to Escape. Maybe K or L would be good for links.
  • I wish to tweak the Enter-related keyboard shortcuts. E.g. new note Enter, new note above Shift+Enter, line break with Ctrl-Enter or sth.

This will require introducing a key mapping config, editable through the UI, etc.

I generally have no objections to this, but this is something that, IMO, is a minor feature for a rather niche need. This in turn is perfectly fine, but this requires working it into the UI in a way that tucks it well away, only to be discovered by those looking for it.

In other words, there should be a Settings (or "Customize...") section to host all secondary options that people can find useful for adapting the UI to their needs. Key maps is one, an option of using color tags for notes is another. Dark/light mode and font resizing options should IMO also go there.

That's something that needs to be done before key maps are added. This in turn needs to be designed first, coded second and I'd rather not outsource the design-y part at the moment. If you are up to coding up some UI sketches, I'm game (some fine print applies).
