The prettier-plugin-apex is a great tool that can help team to focus on the code not style things.

Can you use this plugin to format the source code?

It would be nice to have one commit reformatting the whole source of the repo into a single formatting. Now I sometimes struggle with which styling I need to apply.

Seeing a lot of PR approvals and merges today, when this phase is concluded & stabilized, we can conduct an all-inclusive insignificant code refactoring, and commit with proper tagging.

I want to throw https://editorconfig.org/ in as well so that the common IDEs just 'do the right thing'. According to the docs, it sounds like Prettier and EditorConfig get along with one another.
