Locks up with &

If a file name or folder has an "&" in the name it locks up.

Running into the same issue. I tried to look into the code and fixing it but no luck so far. I've done also some research in the internet but wasn't able to find a solution. Appreciate any hint/update how to resolve this. Thanks.
