Summary

Update the use of patches in the tests/docs to leverage kustomize patches instead of the deprecated patchesStrategicMerge.

Use Cases

  • When maintaining or updating the tests to reflect the latest best practices.
  • When new contributors refer to our docs, they should be guided towards current best practices rather than deprecated features.
