DIY (Build uYouEnhanced Yourself) 🛠️

uYouEnhanced will not include the IPA File. You have to build it yourself with your own decrypted ipa. Please Read Wiki - Building
The reason for this decision was due to uYouEnhanced and other tweaks getting DMCA’d by Google. So I can’t publicly release or host ipa files on here.

uYouEnhanced Features

uYouEnhanced that adds Additional Features and improvements to the uYouPlus/uYou Tweak.

BackUp&RestoreSettings: This tweak adds 2 new buttons to uYouEnhanced called Copy Settings & Paste Settings allowing you to copy settings to your clipboard or file manager and allowing you to paste them or use a .txt file to restore your settings.

YTNoModernUI: This tweak changes and removes some newer UI elements from the app such as Rounded Buttons, Rounded Hints, Red Progress Bar, Gray Buffer Progress & the v17.38.10 App Version Number. (Settings/uYouEnhanced/Miscellaneous)

YouTimeStamp: This tweak adds a button that allows you to copy the video url with the timestamp in the Video Player.

arichornlover/LowContrastMode: This tweak dims the new YouTube UI changes on labels and icons that was first introduced way back in 2020 August/September, which can be such an eyesore when navigating the YouTube app. (Compatible with only v17.33.2-17.38.10)

bhackel/FakeYouTubePremium: This replaces the Default YouTube Logo with the YouTube Premium Logo and also creates Fake premium buttons to make it feel similar to YouTube Premium. This can be enabled in (Settings/uYouEnhanced/Miscellaneous)

level3tjg/YTNoHeatwaves: Turns off the Heatwaves Feature in the video player. (Settings/uYouEnhanced)

arichornlover/YTNoUpgradeDialog: Disables the Upgrade Dialog so you won’t be prompted to update the app.

bhackel/NoFullscreenActions: Ability to hide all of the video player buttons when in fullscreen - this will only work on a iPhone device (Settings/uYouEnhanced)

Dayanch96/HideiSponsorBlockButton: Hide the iSponsorBlock Button shown in the Navigation Bar. (Settings/uYouEnhanced)

arichornlover/AppSettingsOverlayOptions: this allows you to remove sections in the app such as Account, Autoplay, Try new experimental features, Notifications, History and Privacy, Live chat & much more!
bug: AppSettingsOverlayOptions has trouble working if mainAppCoreClientEnableCairoSettings is enabled in A/B

arichornlover/HideShadowOverlayButtons: Ability to remove the Shadow Overlay on the buttons Play/Pause, Previous, Next, Rewind, Forward in the Video Player.

arichornlover/YTAppVersionSpoofer: the ability to spoof the App Version of the YouTube App to any version and this tweak can also be used to fix tweaks and downgrade the ui if you hate the new ui interface. (Settings/uYouEnhanced) versions that the YTAppVersionSpoofer currently includes v17.33.2 up to at least v19.10.7

uYouEnhanced Known Issues ⚠️

  • the ability to hide Buttons under the Video Player stopped working! (started happening server-side on May 14th 2024)
  • uYouLocalization Not Fully Functional ⚠️
  • Hide Community Posts Option will break if enabled ⚠️
    • workaround: Turn it off.
  • the ability to change the App Icon isn’t currently working ⚠️
  • playing videos in fullscreen on an iPad will result in a crash 💔 (uYou 3.0.2+ Issue)
    • workaround: turn off Playback Speed Controls in uYou Settings.
