[Issue] Extremely annoying/triggering / Entering Fullscreen mode randomly changes orientation every time

Every time I enter fullscreen this app randomly changes orientation (upside down fullscreen) forcing me to hold my iPhone the other way.

Please fix this damn issue. It's so annoying at this point 🙏🏻😖 It literally makes me sick...

there’s an iPhone-Exclusive option in uYouEnhanced called Enable Portrait Fullscreen would that help out this situation you are having? When the option is enabled it shouldn’t force you in that orientation you were in when in fullscreen

No I don't exclusively watch in fullscreen.

I watch in normal mode often times and sometimes enter fullscreen.

Someone claimed this uYou tweak would prevent this from happening. But this tweak seems broken and does nothing, so I'm not sure..

The issue is entering fullscreen always changes the orientation. One time it's correct facing me, the next time it's upside down.

@arichornlover What I mean is this mess. When its Upside down forcing me to grab my phone from the other side. This happens very regularly. It's never locked to one side in Fullscreen, but changes all the time.

That option has been broken for awhile. MiRO92 hasn’t updated it for newer YouTube versions. I’ll look more into it.

I forgot to mention this problem also messes with my muscle memory. Sometimes confusing Volume buttons with lockscreen button, and ending up locking the screen...... Or having to check it's the volume buttons before pressing because orientation may change each time.

I hope it can be fixed soon with your research and implementing a proper tweak to lock the fullscreen orientation to one side only.

Or alternatively reverse engineer the existing broken uYou tweak?
I suppose that's what it was doing when it used to work. I never had the chance to test that tweak.

there’s an Option I’m experimenting in this build called FULLSCREEN_TO_THE_RIGHT that should lock the orientation to the right when in fullscreen and this option has no localization yet since I can’t confirm if it will do anything. And I can’t test it since I’m on an iPad device.

Unfortunately for almost two months I'm stuck on this older version because my MapleSign Pro is non-functional with installing IPAs. It can sign but NOT install(update) uYouEnhanced.

And I'm currently "lazy" to test if doing a fresh install of it fixes it.
I will probably be buying another more reliable signing service soon.

In the meantime I appreciate that you're investigating this issue, and trying to come up with a fix 🙏🏻

(I will likely need to take screenshots of my entire YouTube settings, including uYouEnhanced tweaks and uYou tweaks, one way or another.. Having the backup, restore option in this old version would've been lifesaver now 😫)

hey @KarmaBeast I can help you out with the clean-installing thing. Modify those keys above to the ones you have enabled in your version of uYouEnhanced and then you can successfully restore all your settings after clean-installing. Also I organized all those option keys above to be in the order of uYouEnhanced Settings so it will be easy to modify each one.
0 = OFF
1 = ON
