Script to easily spawn and install a new ArchLinux VM on Libvirt. This script is not meant to be generic, and is extremely tied to my setup, but you can fork it and adapt it to your setup.
Requires:
- For raw images: util-linux (losetup)
- For qcow2 images: qemu (qemu-nbd)
- arch-install-scripts (arch-chroot)
Run ./new_vm.sh
:
$ ./new_vm.sh -h
usage: ./new_vm.sh [-h] -n NAME

required arguments:
-n NAME, --name NAME container name to create
optional arguments:
-D, --dryrun does not install the vm, just print the virt-install command
-h, --help show this help message and exit
