Description

When attempting to delete a file/folder in atom, the following error pops up.

"The following file couldn't be moved to trash."
"is gvfs-trash installed?"

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click on file
  2. Press delete

Expected behavior: File should be deleted

Actual behavior: Bug popup appears

Reproduces how often: Can be reproduced 100% of the time (even in atom --safe)

Versions

>atom --version
Atom    : 1.33.1
Electron: 3.0.13
Chrome  : 66.0.3359.181
Node    : 10.2.0

>apm --version
apm  2.1.3
npm  6.5.0
node 11.6.0 x64
atom 1.33.1
python 2.7.15
git 2.20.1

OS:

I'm using arch Linux with "4.20.0-zen1-1-zen" kernel

Also it doesn't work with visual studio code, so its probably an electron specific issue

The issue is gio, as it wont trash.
