AWS vends Deep Learning AMIs to help customers get started with ML training quickly. However, customers already have existing Image Builder pipelines building off a specific Amazon Linux version or AMI and would prefer not to introduce an additional AMI type to support.
This feature request is for Image Builder to introduce a new Deep Learning AMI component such that customers can use their existing AMI choice and add an option to add configurations to the AMI via the component to have the AMI operate like the Deep Learning image of choice.
