fehlend:
apt install python3-systemd

add a file /etc/fail2ban/fail2ban.local:
[DEFAULT]
allowipv6 = auto
add to /etc/fail2ban/jail.d/defaults-debian.conf
[sshd]
enabled = true
backend=systemd

systemctl restart fail2ban
