Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like you to include the package.json in each future release zip.
I use ansible to keep my services updated automatically. Currently, I have no way to query my system to see what version is running. Usually, it would query the service for the version, then github, and then decide to replace files if needed.
I'm running this on Ubuntu via nginx. If the release zip would include the package.json file, I could query that and then have ansible determine if an update is necessary.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I would happy to see the version number (matching the release) anywhere in the files inside that release zip.
Additional context
Thanks so much for considering this.
