Ignore not required checks when merging #1176

Hi! We are having this issue, where the bot does not trigger the merge on a PR in which the required check passed, but a secondary (not required) check failed.

Our branch protection rules specify only this single check to pass, but it's not being considered by the bot

We tried placing this failing check inside the same workflow as the required check, and in a different workflow. Both scenarios have the same result (not merging because of a failed check)

Is there any way to specify that only Required checks must be considered to merge?

Thank you
