This is really missing, or at least the ability to not reset the selected values when the app is closed. I never remember what bit rate gives me a reasonable compromise.

This would be really meaningful. I think the most common use-case is to reduce the resolution, bitrate, and audio quality of some video before sending it via some messenger to reduce file size. Thus, if one has finally figured out which settings suffice for that purpose, one wants to reuse those.

I'd go so far to hide all the settings by default as soon as some profile is created, and only display a combo box with the saved profiles. Below a "Delete profile", "Edit profile" and an "Add profile" button. The settings only show up if "Edit" or "Add" is chosen.

This would enable a very simple workflow: Send to video transcoder, maybe choose another profile, transcode. And maybe, after this is done, even a "Share transcoded file" option ;-)
