Buffer Chrome extension rarely shows the buffer icon in tweets #31

Expected behavior: The buffer icon shows up under each tweet, in the icon row with reply, retweet, fave, and share.

Actual behavior: Occasionally, the Buffer icon shows up under a tweet, but that's rare. In almost all cases, the doesn't doesn't show up at all. I've seen it work on both the home (timeline) page and in search results, but I've seen it fail to show up on both of those more often. I've never seen it show up on an individual tweet page, but sometimes it shows up on a reply to the tweet I'm looking at, or at a tweet that the current tweet is a reply to.

As far as I can tell, browser extensions are the only way to queue retweets in Buffer. This extension is failing to show the Buffer icon about 90% of the time for me, and the only way I've found to "reset" it when it gets confused is to completely restart the browser. But even that doesn't work reliably. This makes retweet queueing so difficult as to not be worth it.

Notes:

Chrome 77.0.3865.120 (current as of this issue's creation), official build on OS X.
