Sorry - did a mistake with my repo. opened the pr again: camaraproject/WorkingGroups#414 |
There is something similar in connectivity insights (although more limited), see this PR https://github.com/camaraproject/ConnectivityInsights/pull/40/files#diff-f5ef3370f6dcd62ae7d8455ff3e93e44b85ff32651398b3649e507a3cfa02173R89 Should this be a new API or an extension to connectivity insights? |
Hello Noel. As spoken in the last meeting I need you to find support (at least from another company) for the proposed APIs before moving to TSC. Also need to go through the comment rised up by @Bart-Ericsson |
@Bart-Ericsson, in my view, connectivity insights can provide the foundational information for the network. However, if the network is performing well but the user has no data volume left or the connection standard is only 2G, the developer may need react differently in the next steps. In the end, this API is an aggregation of three Camara APIs to create a transparent indicator for developers:
This results in a Device Quality Indicator. |

@TEF-RicardoSerr Can you raise the request to create the necessary repositories? I think it best to create two separate repositories - one for each of the new APIs - but they can have the same codeowners and maintainers. Thanks |

Repository is created: https://github.com/camaraproject/DeviceQualityIndicator |
Quality Indicator based on a calculation of different inputs. (e.g. Open Data volume (Tarif), Distance to the cell, Congestion in the cell, 4G/5G/EDGE…)
