Editing/Deleting provisioned Grafana dashboards

It seems like the instructions in the README for updating the built-in dashboards are no longer applicable. It is possible to create a copy of the provisioned dashboards and edit those, but there's no way to hide or delete the provisioned ones.

Can you outline a process by which this can be done?
