more than half the webpage is not utilized by the dashboard's main UI

Environment:

kubeflow lite bundle v1.6
browser: chrome version 105.0.5195.125

Corresponding open issue on upstream linked here

This behavior has been found to associate with LastPass, disable LastPass plugin to avoid this.
