When we are not going to use traits, dependency should be lowered to PHP 5.3.

Doesn't really matter since 5.3 reached end of support. It can be achieved if no cons present though.

The only thing is array syntax so I think we should do the move.

PHP 5.3 compatibility would be good. My provider won't update the PHP version soon.

I'm thinking about using traits for easier combination of parsers, thats the only reason for PHP5.4 so far.

closing this as I started to use traits with Table feature which is used in GFM and Markdown extra. Will extend this further for other language elements.
