Satoshi and Num of cores

Hi,

I am trying to find out what would be the expected staking requirement for a Core on the mainnet.
Doc states that I would need 1,000,000 sats per Core. Currently getCores returns 1 URI.

Does it mean that there is only 1 core on the mainnet and that 1,000,000 sats is enough ?

Hi @JohnDeey,

We aren't yet onboarding new cores to the public network, but you can check out the /status endpoint of any core to find the total calculated lightning staking amount, or /peers to find the number of other cores on the network.

We'll reach back out and let you know when we open up to third party operators.
