Links of the form ticket:1234 or [ticket:1234 link description] were not transformed to Markdown, nor mapped to the new GitHub URLs.

If anyone finds this repository and wants to run it on another project, this is a bug that was not fixed.

Yes. this is custom Trac wiki syntax.

I think that for now this is low priority.

Also, if someone is worried about it, an update can be executed over the existing comments and edit the comments to add the links.

But I think is a lot of work and trouble for little reward
