A future vision to have the distant library be available for wasm so you can connect directly from the browser.

Backend support via tokio-tungstenite
Frontend support is part of wasm-bindgen (see example); may need wasmtime's tokio support
Splinter off distant-core non-wasm code into optional features that can be disabled
