I am using Papermerge together with my girlfriend.

I set my scanner up to scan to a samba Server, which is mounted to IMPORTER_DIR.

The files end up in the Admin users inbox. So I created an Automation, which check the Files for her name and put them in a shared folder with her and the same for my name. Problem is: The target users automations don't run, because the files dont end up in the users inbox.

It would be great if one could set other users inbox as a target for the automation.

Duplicate of #325

This is not a Duplicate. The feature I am asking for is:
Allow Automates to place Files in other peoples inboxes

That's way more flexible than: Have an inbox for every user.

How to do this:

  1. Log in into admin account
  2. Create folder girlfriend and self-friend :)
  3. Move this folder into Documents folder (they cannot stay in inbox)
  4. Set proper Access to both folders for separate users
  5. Set automation to move document into proper folder.

And this is all.

Now you have two separate folders (from yours personal account you cannot see what's inside but the admin can).

Personally (as there are no certainty that I will scan documents with name of the user in it) I like to have few automation only to properly tag this documents (if it find proper name tag it with the name etc) and then I'm moving everything to one folder "Scanned" to which everyone have access.

The responsibility of person who scanned document is to take it to his/her personal document. So far it's quite clear.

But for the user that I do not want to have access to common folder I set #325 solution.

One problem though:
TAGS made by admin are not in tags of the users, even though you can search, and see them, you cannot pin nor edit them.
