Possible upgrade to use PHP 8?

PHP 8 was released on 26 Nov 2020 and it breaks a lot on stuff that was working on PHP 7 (they manage to break stuff between minor releases but that's another story xD).

With Ubuntu 18.04 being ESS (End of Standard Support) on April this year, and since support for PHP 7 has been discontinued since 03 Nov 2022, would be nice to see this amazing project being updated to support PHP 8.

Unfortunately I'm no coder so I can't do much for it :/

So, I was wondering if there's someone out there that would like to give it a try and update this project. The commmunity would be very grateful (at least I would be).

This works for me, like a charm. I need to test mysql and postgres with it yet, but so far works perfectly with sqlite.
