because there is no hierarchical structure in the wiki, it would be nice to have a line of breadcrumbs of last visited pages that could help switching back to "upper" pages.

Iam not very sure if directories are a good idea, of course to have the option is always good. But from my experiences with a dokuwiki, I decided in the end to "flatten" all the structure again because it was too complex for many users to keep an overview. I guess it depends very much of the team itself, but considering the wikipedia, there aren't directory structures
That was my idea too when I started the project, but some kind of structure is one of the most requested features. The biggest problem is when you want Jingo to serve/edit a set of documents that already have a structure.
Technically – I believe – the solution would just be just consider the directory as part of the name of the page. We'll see.
