Hi, this is not a issue, I dont know how to mark it as one.

I just am curious on why the makefile doesnt use aapt2 and uses the older, deprecated aapt.
Is aapt really deprecated?

Do you plan on upgrading to aapt2? (maybe someone can start a pull request)
It (aapt2) has problems for compiling resources, a real pain.
