Feature: Option for deactivating duplicate subscription

Hi,
it would be great, if there was an option to deactivate the possibility to subscribe more than once to an event.
The checking criteria would be the subscriber's email-address.

We had this custom feature planned quite a while ago. A better solution would be a field with a custom ID for an event.

Subscriber x can only subscribe once to events with id xyz. So you get less limitations for even different events with the same id.

This custom feature for this module can be requested by codefog. He will send a cost estimate.

Edit:
Your request was just a check for guest registrations sorry. In our case we use member subscribing only. So we don´t have the possibility of duplicated subscriptions. For guest subscriptions this check would be indeed a good feature.
