A point of confusion for some users - as confirmed by KLS - is that many don't know or don't want to divulge that they are required to register with the Kansas criminal registry. This question therefore requires additional attention in order to make it clear to the applicant that they must answer truthfully, and make it easy for them to look up their status. Options for how to revise the current question include adding a link to the question text so that users can look up their status for themselves, or doing an automatic lookup from the registry to prompt the individual with existing records to see if one of them is a match. The latter is likely better-suited to the final app, but this is something that should be discussed.

To Do

  • Discuss how to support registry lookups in the prototype.
  • @wdcrumpler-kcdd to integrate whatever conclusion the group reaches
