You have a choice, either

Thanks, I'll check with Rohan Drape the maintainer of hosc. |
Ok @rd-- is happy for hosc to go into stackage, but has no experience of stack - he only uses cabal so would rather someone else sorted it out and was the contact. I'd be happy to be the contact, although am no expert in stack either. I can have a go at this later. Here's the repository: He kindly sent a diff to get tidal to work with upcoming version of hosc, which he will try to release in the next week or two: |
I've submitted a PR to add hosc to stackage, however there is another dependency needed before I can add tidal again as far as I know - microspec. I've emailed the maintainer of that too (@vivid-synth ) Tidal is now up to 1.0.4, and is currently the 16th most popular haskell package according to hackage monthly downloads.. So it'll be great to get it in stackage soon. |
here's the first pr #4247 |
Done, thanks all |

Just wondering why this hasn't made it to LTS yet.. Is it due to #4312 ? |
Hmm fair question: it went into Nightly after lts-13 was branched. |
Thanks @juhp is that a case of making a new issue here? |
@yaxu for adding packages to LTS, open a new issue on https://github.com/commercialhaskell/lts-haskell/issues |
How do we get tidal-0.9.10 back in the nightlies, given missing dependencies (hosc-0.16)?
See #3084 and tidalcycles/Tidal#405
