at the start i was thinking this branch with NSP1_T170I was groing due to a founder effect, but a big but now i am starting to notice that this branch WAS 40% of Icelandic JN.1 where it is now dominating.
Curiously it is 30% of sequence in Denamrk where is predicted to take the lead in the next week.
and it 50% of JN.1 in Singapore where Jn.1 got from 0,% to 30% in three weeks.
So while these data are scattered and there are tons of alternative explanations but i think a designation could help.
Having being already splitted with JN.1.1 htat has no advantage i think it would be good to prioritize this one.
