The required fields are unknown but it will at least include title, publication date, authors, publication name (name of journal).
If the fields (title etc) come in various languages (as is the case with Patents) it would be sufficient to show english only initially if that's easier (though a future task would be to select which language to view).
The user interface can be tabular or a grid, whatever makes sense.
It may be good to create to method to create the list in a generalised way so that the same method can be used to create a list for the other entities (patents, clinical trials etc).
Requires some search/filtering functionality, which should set params within the URL. Filtering is required by title and by connected genes (will be used when linking the genes to the paper list).
At the moment there is no need for a function to view full individual records (basic functionality exists already on Patents), but that will be required later.
