[Bug] Trouble changing favicon

Steps to reproduce

1. Replace public/favicon.png with a separate png. I named it favicon.png

What is expected?

I expected the icon in the browser tab to change to what I have my public/favicon.png as. How do I change the tab icon?

What is actually happening?

It remains the vue icon. In the network, is loading a lot of icons with the funny names that are located in public/img/icons. Maybe these are just being loaded for the other aspects of the app.
