I have written a draft privacy policy that addresses the broader activities of the Catalyst Project, to be published in the https://github.com/czi-catalystproject/website repository by the end of March. A Google Doc draft has been placed in the Catalyst Project team drive and will appear alongside content planned by CSCCE following an internal editorial process (see comment). |
Tagging @tobyhodges for initial review and adding to the Tasks and Activity Board to track progress. |

Closed by commit 88359f4. I have archived the Google Doc and created a new working copy in our team folder. If you would like to raise further changes, please create a new issue. |
This issue tracks the drafting, review and approval of the Privacy Policy page for the Catalyst website.
This issue is complete when: the copy of this page is approved and can be moved to GitHub ready for publishing on the website (at that point we need to move the copy into the code of this repo on GitHub).

Roles
Drafting content: @katiepratt and @Tajuddeen1
Initial review: @LouWoodley
Coordination / project management: @Tajuddeen1
Review: corresponding project sub-teams
Handoff - @katiepratt hands off to @jnywong to prep for website publishing
Context from old issue:
There is a plan to collect feedback using Google Docs before and after the workshop. It would be good to write a privacy policy to outline how we will handle this data to be compliant with local regulations, e.g. GDPR, CCPA
