Warning: This guide will only route DNS traffic from Firefox over HTTPS. This means that other DNS requests made by other applications on your system will be made without encryption. For system-wide secure DNS, please see our other guides.
- Open Firefox and click the hamburger menu:
- Select "Settings":
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page
- Click the "Settings" button under Network Settings.
- Tick "Enable DNS over HTTPS" if it is not already ticked.
- Under the "Use Provider" dropdown menu, select "Custom".
- In the "Custom" text field, enter
https://anycast.uncensoreddns.org/dns-query
- Click "OK" and restart Firefox
