How to Plot only for the available x axis and leave the rest of the x axis blank?

I am trying to achieve something where the chart is plot only in some part, eg: I have the x axis with the hours 1,2,3,4..24.. and currently its 6am so I don't have anything to plot for rest of the hours of the day, so that should not plot anything, and the chart should only cover 25% of the screen. Please refer the screenshot to get exactly what I am trying to achieve.(The dots in the screenshot can be considered as the hours)

FYI: you just set a bigger axisMaximum I suppose can work.
