Dear David, it would be convenient to add a functionality to the WindRose function to add the resulting vector, this is calculated by computing the vector resultant or vector sum of the unit vectors that represent the various directions in the data. The magnitude of the resultant vector represents the mean resultant vector length. This definition was taken from the WRPLOT software. I am sending you a screenshot of the model of that software.
