Getting stuck at "WPA Handshake capture: Waiting for target to appear..." #485

Hi,
I'm using a wn722n (rtl8188eus) and kali2024.2 in virtual box on win10 (and yes I have installed the drivers). the problem is whenever I run sudo wifite --kill it works and does detect access points around me but once I go to attack my access point the wps attacks may or may not work. when they don't work they are stuck at Waiting for target to appear... and the wpa handshakes almost never work. I know I have set it up correctly cause it has worked the first 2 or 3 times.
but also one other thing to consider is that after I kill the process and restart it, it is unable to detect any access points at all)
it is the same with airmon and airodump (and aireplay) .
any suggestions ?
