Twitter widget location causing overlaps

The introduction of #144 is making some odd things happen with the blue footer bar. Additionally, it looks strange on the calendar page (these are going to be solved in different ways, however, they are reported as one issue).

This is basically fixed, but in a not delightful way. It's working the same way as on the current site, so I'm going to move this to Future Enhancements, since I think the mark of "works like current site" is accomplished for now :)
