Untranslated articles shouldn’t show on Latest Articles plugin when hide_untranslated is set

We have switched a website to hide_untranslated and hoped that also untranslated news pages are hidden in the Latest Articles plugin.

While in the news overview page, the untranslated article isn’t shown at all (which is the desired behaviour), we have the featured_image and “Read more…”, linked to the homepage (not the article) in the Latest Articles plugin on the homepage. We would like to have the same behaviour in the plugin like on the news overview page, i. e. untranslated articles don’t show up at all.

If you could give me a hint what code changes are necessary, I can do it.
