I have recently found out about crouton and absolutely love it 👍. However, my Chromebook, a Lenovo Think Pad 11e (1st gen), which has 9gb when power washed and when I install gnome-desktop chroot I have 5.5 gb. Then after installing chrome and other apps (via a .deb files) I have 3.2 gb left.
So, as I had a 32gb usb flash drive, I search if I could move a chroot there… the -m command can do that but I am not sure if when I install Debian files, they will install in the usb. Since the entire point is to free up space by moving the chroot, if the files don’t install on the usb then I’m back to square one. So I just want to make sure that the files will install in the usb and I will be able to access/remove the apps. I also am a little confused about the path that I need to specify when moving. Would it be possible for any one to give an example…
