Crouton is discontinued and i know alternatives

Here are a few alternatives to crouton because it is discountined :

• MrChromebox Firmware
• ChromeBrew
• Crostini
  - Brioche (Crouton Based)
• CHAMELEON (Crouton Based)

crouton has not been discontinuied, please take a look at the README where it says:

• #crouton-is-now-maintenance-only.

In fact, a commit was merged just two days ago.

Also, concerning the alternatives you mention above:

• Mr.Chromebox firmware: it is not an alternative for crouton and is not available on all Chromebooks.
• Chromebrew: it enhances the crosh shell but is not a Linux distro or alternative for crouton.
• Crostini: it is a good alternative and the only one that Google offers as a replacement for crouton and doesn't require dev mode.
• Brioche: it is not supported since ChromeOS r118 and it is not crouton based, it uses lxc containers.
• Chameleon: looks like a README only at this stage, can you point us to the code?
