Description

since 4.35.0 the directory /run/desktop/mnt/host/ is missing inside the WSL docker-desktop distribution.
This results into mounting errors aka 'is not a file / directory'
This makes this version unusable for all people that want to mount things from the host os of docker desktop.

-v:

output -v

--mount:

output mount

if you go interactive into the docker-desktop wsl distro (wsl -d docker-desktop) and you try to see if even 'mnt' exists you will see that it is gone:

ls -lisa /run

even a downgrade to 4.34.3 doesn't help. (but you lose everything....)

probably connected to an WSL issue:
microsoft/WSL#10792

So it's maybe more connected to a windows update then to a docker update
